Beautiful Women In SoHo
Peace Artist,
Well if you know me then you know i LOVEEE art !! The other day i was heading down Lafayette, when i came across these huge drawings on canvas that were striking. When i stopped to look at them, the artist who's name is Hulbert Waldroup, approached me and we began conversing. He told me he was from Chicago, and that he had been drawing ever since he could remember. I asked him how long it took him to complete one of those huge paintings, and he said two hours easily. He also said that he never has emotional attachments to his pieces, because he knows that the next painting will be better than the last.

"Every morning I open my eyes and take a long look at the world, then become angry, sad and bitter. After this long look, with tears in my eyes, sweat from my brow and the blood in my veins, I release all my love and all my hate and all my emotions on the canvas. So history will see someone did care. It is not what I want to paint, it is what I have to paint. What is God's curse to me is my gift to you." - Hulbert Waldroup
