Salutations World,

Rather than me sit here, and tell you all the things you may not know about Takashi Murakami, or go on to describe how important he is, i'll help you through the basics, and hope that you EXPERIENCE this for yourself. Take the 2 or 3 train to the Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Museum stop; when exiting the train, the Museum will be in front of you. Make sure you bring $10, and if you bring a camera, be stealth like when taking pictures. The exhibit starts on the 4th floor, and continues to the 5th floor. The exhibit will be on display with different forms of art from sculptures, to work on canvas, to figurines, for a few months, so you have time to get to Brooklyn.

Many of you might know who he is, and might be familiar to his work by the Kanye West album cover he designed. I was fortunate enough to learn who he was prior to his becoming popular with popular culture early last year through my workings at GRBG. We actually attended an art exhibit of his, and oddly, nobody was there back then, but i'm glad they were there yesterday.

T.M. is one of the best artist of our time, and for me, he serves as an inspiration to how my dreams through emotion, and expression can be communicated and accomplished if i put my mental paint brush to use. I hope many of you attend, and if you want me to go, just ask, because i wouldn't mind attending it again.

ENJOY !!
