The Cop Shop, Long Island’s home for hip hop, presents yet another in-store autograph signing and performance. On Saturday, July 26 at 9pm, Boston representative and Showoff Records recording artist Reks will be in Smithtown signing autographs and performing in promotion for his sophomore album, Grey Hairs. His latest release features production and verses from some of hip hop’s biggest and most respected names, from Lil Fame of M.O.P. to Large Professor, Krumb Snatcha, Skyzoo and the legendary DJ Premier, who produced the lead single to the album, “Say Goodnight.” Special guests for the event include Boston hip hop heavyweights Statik Selektah, Termanology and Lucky Dice.
The opening act for the event is Long Island emcee and winner of the Cop Shop/Street FM Friday Night Mics Part 4, Que. As always, the Cop Shop is bringing hip hop to your backyard with a free event open to every one of all ages. The Cop Shop is located at 77 West Main Street in Smithtown.
